6 ways to sanitize your office and help prevent the Coronavirus

Hey everybody,

Here’s some things that YOU can do to help prevent the spread of any virus including COVID-190 (Coronavirus).

  1. Get a clean routine.Routinely clean frequently touched objects and surfaces, including doorknobs, keyboards, and phones, to help remove germs.  Clorox wipes (if available), or any alcohol based cleaner will work.  Suggestion, set up a cleaning rotation with you staff to stay consistent with doorknobs, bathrooms, and other commonly touched areas.
  1. Make sure you office has a good supply
Keep in stock paper towels, alcohol rubs, hand soap and toilet paper.
  1. Cross-train
Train your co-workers, and be trained to do the most vital parts of your/their job.  That way, if someone becomes the work can still be productive
  1. Clean your hands.
Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. If soap and water are not available, using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer is the best alternative.
  1. Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
Viruses are often spread through the body when a person touches something that is contaminated and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth…and then that person becomes to carrier.
  1. Review sick policies.
Take a look at your sick leave policies that tell sick workers to stay at home without fear of any reprisals.
